GHB's dose-response curve is steep enough to be dangerous on its own; an opioid on top removes the margin. Unrousable sedation with vomiting is the standard presentation, and aspiration is the usual mechanism of death.
The risk here is to the body — breathing, heart, temperature or organs. Set limits before you start, because this kind of harm does not announce itself in time to react.
