Dangerous
Lithium can set off serotonin syndrome with serotonin-acting drugs, and MXE is one. Do not combine.
There is a risk of serotonin syndrome when combining Lithium with MXE, as Lithium can induce serotonin syndrome in conjunction with other serotonergic drugs, and MXE has shown a notable affinity for the serotonin transporter.
This combination carries bodily risk and can go badly psychologically. The headspace part often arrives first and makes the physical part harder to notice.
